# Other agents

> Connect any MCP client that supports remote servers with OAuth.

Stanza works with MCP clients beyond ChatGPT and Claude, such as coding agents and
desktop apps, as long as the client supports:

- **Remote MCP servers** over HTTP (Streamable HTTP).
- **OAuth sign-in** using a client ID metadata document (CIMD).

Stanza doesn't use API keys, and it doesn't support dynamic client registration (DCR).
If your client only offers those, it can't connect yet.

## Add Stanza

1. In your client's MCP settings, add a remote server named `Stanza` with the URL
   `https://app.runstanza.com/api/mcp`.
2. Choose **OAuth** for authentication. If the client asks how to register, choose its
   client metadata (CIMD) option.
3. When Stanza's sign-in page opens, sign in, review the permissions, and select
   **Allow**.

Menu names differ between clients; check your client's documentation for where to add a
remote MCP server.

## Check the connection

Ask your agent:

> Use Stanza to list the projects I can access.

See [Connect your agent](/integrations/mcp) for what the connection can do, prompts to
try, and [troubleshooting](/integrations/mcp#troubleshooting).
